Soft Gold is a short triptych of loneliness inside systems of intimacy, survival, and performance that follows three people moving through the nightlife of Thailand.

The city sells a version of the night, and it takes all three of them to keep it convincing. None of them wants to be the one who makes it heavy. So the weight is carried quietly, and the evening stays light.

They meet the way people meet inside a transaction. Briefly, warmly, without names that survive the morning. The warmth is real. So is the price on it.

The film moves between the sea and the strip, between the hours that are sold and the hours that are not. All of them know how high it goes. Nobody says it out loud. They keep their faces bright, so as not to make the night heavier for anyone else.
